While the bar may seem appealing from the exterior , what I found behind its threshold was disturbing and far below any standard .

The floorboards were filthy, and a foul smell of stale beer and uncleaned toilets suffused the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of urine , a rotting odor and sour vomit . The serving zone , which should be the centerpiece of any pub, was littered with unwashed glassware and trash that looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in weeks . The lavatory was in even worse condition — clogged , with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was fecal matter .
It wasn’t just a single bad experience either. From reading other reviews and conversing with residents , it seems that the state of cleanliness a fantastic read (or lack thereof) at this pub is a long-standing issue .
